Sunshine Embrace

Well you put it in drive

and your hands come alive

with the sound of the street and the steel.

And you notice a sign

up ahead in the lights

and you're not even sure if it's real.

It's a fork in the road

and it's coming up close

and you're watching your hands take the wheel

It's like your changing your mind

for the rest of your life

and you’re not even sure how you feel.

Rays upon on your face

            It's a sunshine embrace

            Sunshine embrace

            Rays upon your face

            Sunshine embrace

            Warm upon your face

            You wipe your weeping eyes

And you get out of this place

And you look back on your life

And you're wondering why

why the couldn't haves couldn't have been

Like lips in the night

In the mists of you mind

Or the time when you first touched the skin

But today you just sigh

And you try to get by

But the weight of the day pulls you in

And you say to yourself

I would only be well

if I now knew just what I knew then

            Rays upon on your face

            It's a sunshine embrace

            Sunshine embrace

            Rays upon your face

            Sunshine embrace

            Warm upon your face

            You wipe your weeping eyes

And you get out of this place

So the day turns to night

And the years roll on by

And always comes a moment when it's time to decide

So you come to two roads

Leave the worn one behind

And look off to a place, a place you finally find

And you put it in drive

Put the radio high

And your hands come alive at the wheel

It's like you're changing your mind

For the rest of your life

And you're starting to know how you feel

The rays upon on your face

            It's a sunshine embrace

            It's a sunshine embrace

            Your head begins to raise

            Your hand reaches high

            It's a sunshine embrace

A long walk through the pines

            Light begins to shine

            It's a sunshine embrace

            You wipe your weeping eyes

And you get out of this place

            Sunshine embrace, sunshine embrace

            Sunshine embrace, sunshine embrace

            Sunshine, sunshine

            Sunshine, sunshine
